[edit] Fictional character biography

Not much is know about the mysterious mutant called Sunder, except he was a founding member of the Morlocks and the "Muir Island" X-Men. During the tenure with the Morlocks, Sunder was the muscles of his group and was very protective of them, especially Callisto. He briefly joined the Muir Island X-Men, but was shortly killed by the cyborg Pretty-Boy when the Reavers invaded Muir Island[2].

[edit] Powers and abilities

Sunder's mutant powers give him superhuman strength and durability. However, he was not durable enough to withstand machinegun bullet wounds.

[edit] Other versions

[edit] Age of Apocalypse

In this reality, Sunder was known as Brute, and was a member of the Outcasts alongside Nate Grey.

[edit] House of M

Sunder was seen as a member of the Genoshan Black Ops version of the Marauders.

[edit] Ultimate Sunder

Sunder was introduced to the Ultimate Marvel Universe in Ultimate X-Men #82 as the leader of the Ultimate Morlocks. His powers seem similar, but he seems to be near invincible (Nightcrawler broke his neck and he regenerated.) His look is a major change, with yellow skin, white hair and a more normal shape. In issue 90 he's forced to bring Mister Sinister some innocent mutants; he could not stop and seemed sorry.
