Sunday Bada (born June 22, 1969) is a retired Nigerian sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres event.

Bada won three medals at World Indoor Championships, including a gold medal in 1997 in a new African indoor record of 45.51 seconds.[1]

Additionally, he was a part of the Nigerian team that won the gold medal in 4 x 400 metres relay at the 2000 Olympics, following the disqualification of the original US winning team (the disqualification was later overturned.) Nigeria established a national record time of 2:58.68 minutes.[2]

His personal best was 44.63 seconds, achieved at the 1993 World Championships where he finished fifth.
