Sundance is a residential neighbourhood in the south-east quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located east of Macleod Trail, is bounded to the north-east by the Fish Creek Provincial Park and to the south by Marquis of Lorne Trail. The 33-acre man-made Sundance Lake was constructed in the middle of the community, and residents have easy access to the public beach of Sikome Lake.
Sundance was established in 1982. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 14 Alderman Linda Fox-Mellway.

In 2006 the neighbourhood had a population of 11,297.[3] Residents in this community had a median household income of $91,623 in 2000, and there were 5% low income residents living in the neighborhood.[1] As of 2000, 14.6% of the residents were immigrants. A proportion of 3.1% of the buildings were condominiums or apartments, and 6.5% of the housing was used for renting.[2]

There are two public elementary schools; Fish Creek Elementary School, and Sundance Elementary School.
There is one public junior high; MidSun Junior High.
There is one public high school; Centennial High School.
There is one Catholic (Separate) School; Father James Whelihan School (kindergarten to Grade 9).
