The SUNBURST Kuala Lumpur International Music Festival is took place on 15th March 2008. The introductory event was a one-day festival, with 26 live performances on 4 different stages over a 12-hour programme. The event was held at the Polo Pavilion, Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Sunburst KL showcased a varied range of performers from the sounds of Rock, Jazz, R&B, Funk and Hip-Hop. International names such as Incubus, John Legend, The Roots, Incognito, George Clinton shared the stage with Search, Gigi, Tompi, Raul Midón, Joe Flizzow, Pop Shuvit and many more Malaysian bands.
