SunTrust Racing

SunTrust Racing is a professional sports car racing team competing in the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype class. The team campaigns the No. 10 SunTrust-sponsored Pontiac Riley, driven by South African team co-owner Wayne Taylor and Italian Max Angelelli. In 2006, Jan Magnussen from Denmark has joined Angelleli in some races. In 2007, Jeff Gordon raced with the team for the 24 Hours of Daytona.

For the 2008 season, the team's full-time drivers will be Max Angelelli and Michael Valiante, who joins the team after driving for Finlay Motorsports and Chip Ganassi Racing in 2007. Team co-owner Wayne Taylor and his son Ricky joined Angelelli and Valiante for the 2008 Rolex 24 at Daytona, with the team finishing 5th overall.

The team finished second in the Daytona Prototype championship in 2004 and won the Daytona Prototype team and driver championships in 2005.
