Description

The Bar'an Temple near Marib, Yemen. It is also known as the Sun temple or "Bilqis Throne." The excavated temple has ben partially reconstructed. It was built in the 8th century BC and performed its function for nearly 1000 years.

Near a broken inscription was found, giving the name of this temple as "Bara'am, dedicated to the god Ilumquh"[1]
