Instead of giving the romanizations in the table, I think the table would look a lot cleaner if you just linked the character to the appropriate surname page directly, the way the Chinese version of the page does. --Yuje 18:55, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

The messiness is indeed a problem.
But not giving the pinyin might be problematic because this is the English Wikipedia. If it is just a table of Chinese surnames, then it would be quite useless to those who can't read Chinese. What do you think?
