I think Mayagna is the name used by the people themselves, (either that or they are a subset of the Sumo, not sure which). [1]--Yuletide 19:10, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Should we harmonise "Sumu people" with "Sumo language"? Should the preferred spelling be Sumo or Sumu? - Nat Krause(Talk!) 20:25, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Both spellings seem acceptable, but after looking into it, I think "Sumo" is more widely used. I'll go ahead and move things around. — TheKMantalk 21:32, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
