[edit] Images

I think it'd be better to replace SumatranTigerEating.jpg with SumatranTigerToronto.JPG. The latter was previously and erroneously used as a Bengal Tiger picture in the main Tiger article. - Slow Graffiti 21:52, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] population size

the IUCN link lists the population size at 250 mature individuals. The article says 400-500. Which is right? Matthias5 14:38, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "useless" image?

Just curious what makes an image useless enough that it has to be removed? If there are three images in the article of tigers, and one shows it sitting down, and one shows it standing up, and the other shows it eating dinner, how do you decide which one is "useless"? --Maelwys 17:28, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Ok maby "useless" is a worng word, but I think it (Image:SumatranTigerEating.jpg) is not really a good image. it is not sharp, there is a fence in the view and the tiger shows nothing, what is not shown by the tigers in the other two images.--Altaileopard 13:58, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] where is the map

what map can i use to find the place where the sumatran tiger came from —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.91.35.26 (talk) 22:50, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

the map under the taxobox does show the distribution, but it is impossible to see because the scale is global, but the distribution is limited to a few patches on sumatra. could someone edit it to zoom in on the area?Hectorguinness (talk) 23:49, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
