Summit High School is a public high school located in Bend, Oregon, United States. Part of the Bend-La Pine School District, Summit was the fourth high school built in Bend, after Bend High School, Mountain View High School, and Marshall High School. Construction finished in 2001, with freshman, sophomore, and junior students beginning school that fall. Summit expanded to include senior students in 2002.

During the 2006-2007 school year, Summit High School had 1,195 students.

An oven in the cafeteria is run partially off solar power. A small electronic sign is on display in the school's commons area to denote how much money is being saved by this unique and innovative project.

According to the 2006-2007 Oregon Department of Education School Report Card, Summit High School students not only met Federal adequate yearly progress, but it also received an overall "strong" report card rating.[1]

Summit High School Students scored above average both statewide and nationally on SAT scores in Critical Reading, Math, and Writing skills. Summit students exceed state standards in reading, mathematics, and writing by more than 10 percentage points.

Attendance has improved for the 4th year in a row, and the dropout rate has continued to drop.

Summit's mascot has changed significantly throughout the high school's brief history. In the school's opening ceremony in 2001, Summit Man was revealed as a Batman look-alike with a large "S" emblazoned on his chest. In late 2003, the school changed its mascot to a Thundercat.
