"Summer Wind Was Always Our Song" is a single by The Ataris from their third album End Is Forever.
The song deals with the death of a relationship and is written from the point of view of someone who wants the other person back.[citation needed]
The title (and part of the lyrics) references the song Summer Wind by Frank Sinatra, which was a song that songwriter Kris Roe and his wife Denice used to tell the other one that they were at a particular bar.[citation needed]
The accompanying music video tells the story of how Roe & Denice met, interspersed with footage from a live show.[citation needed]
