Summer City is a 1977 Australian film, most notable for having Mel Gibson in his inaugural role. It is also known as Coast of Terror.

Other cast members included John Jarratt , Phillip Avalon, Steve Bisley, James Elliott, Ward "Pally" Austin and Abigail.

The plot concerns four friends who go for a weekend's surfing away from Sydney. One of the friends ends up fighting, with a local man because he had sex with his daughter, and the situation grows darker.
