SummerSlam (1992) was the fifth annual SummerSlam professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It took place on August 29, 1992 at Wembley Stadium, London, England, but was aired in the United States on August 31. This event marked the second largest live audience ever to attend a WWF/E event with 80,355 in attendance; the largest being WrestleMania III in 1987 with 93,173. The tagline was "The SummerSlam You Thought You'd Never See."

- Dark match: Jim Duggan and The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) defeated The Mountie and The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) (w/Jimmy Hart) (12:33)
- Duggan pinned The Mountie after Sags accidentally elbow dropped the Mountie.
- Dark match: Papa Shango defeated Tito Santana (6:00)
- Shango pinned Santana after a Shoulderbreaker.
- Dark match: Tatanka defeated The Berzerker (w/Mr. Fuji) (5:46)
- Tatanka pinned Berzerker after a Samoan drop.
- The Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal) defeated Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) (w/Jimmy Hart) (15:10)
- Animal pinned DiBiase after a Powerslam after Dibiase collided with I.R.S. on the apron.
- Nailz defeated Virgil (3:55)
- Nailz defeated Virgil by TKO when Virgil passed out from a sleeper hold.
- Shawn Michaels (w/Sensational Sherri) fought Rick Martel to a double count-out (8:06)
- Due to pre-match stipulations made by Sherri, neither man was to hit the other in the face. The match ended in a double count-out when Sherri got on the apron but fainted and fell off resulting in both Martel and Michaels going to check on her. They got in a fight over who should attend to her and were counted out.
- The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) defeated The Beverly Brothers (Blake and Beau) (w/The Genius) to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship (10:30)
- Earthquake pinned Beau after a Earthquake squash.
- Crush defeated The Repo Man (5:41)
- Crush made Repo Man submit with a Cranium Crush. This match was not seen on the UK telecast.
- The Ultimate Warrior defeated WWF Champion Randy Savage by count-out (28:00)
- Warrior defeated Savage by countout due to interference from Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair.
- The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) defeated Kamala (w/Harvey Wippleman and Kim Chee) by disqualification (3:27)
- Kamala was disqualified after Kim Chee hit The Undertaker with his pith helmet.
- Undertaker rode on the back of a hearse during his entrance.
- The British Bulldog (w/Lennox Lewis) defeated Bret Hart to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship (25:40)
- Bulldog pinned Hart when he countered a sunset flip attempt with a roll-up.

- SummerSlam 1992 was the only SummerSlam to ever take place in an open air venue.
- SummerSlam 1992 was the only of the series to date not to have been broadcast live on pay-per-view (but on tape delay).
- This was the first WWF pay-per-view not to feature Hulk Hogan.
- Bret Hart stated in his WWE Hall Of Fame induction speech that his match at this Summerslam, is his favorite.
- This is the only one of the "Big 4" WWE/F pay-per-views (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series) to ever take place outside North America.
