This image was originally mistitled "RoyalBengalTiger.JPG" which is incorrect - it is a Sumatran Tiger. Relative to Bengals (and most other subspecies), Sumatrans are smaller, have darker red-orange fur, and have extra long tufts of hair around the face.

After viewing his other galleries, the photographer (on flickr.com) appears to be under the incorrect notion that the Toronto Zoo displays Siberian Tigers and Bengal Tigers (and apparently presumed this non-Siberian was a Bengal). A quick look at their website (and a google image search) reveals that they do not have Bengal Tigers, and they do have Sumatran Tigers. - Slow Graffiti 21:13, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
