[edit] Removal of powers

I've always believed the assault was used more of an excuse to remove powers rather then being the real reason for the removal of powers. Anyone else agree and can find a reference? N.B. I'm not denying Sultan Iskandar is a violent, arrogant idiot who should never have been Sultan let alone agong and that allowing Sultans to be prosecuted is a good thing... [edit] Cleanup please

I don't know who the heck wrote this article but I do know that it's very low in quality. This paragraph for example:

"While he was Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Iskandar created further controversy by assaulting a golf caddy. A soldier, the brother of the caddy who was badly injured (??? - did he survive???)'Bold text', subsequently ran amok in Kuala Lumpur causing a security scare. The soldier was later arrested and sent to a mental hospital."

Apart from the poor writing quality, the statement itself lacks referance albeit being a well-known story among Malaysians..

[edit] Some comments

This articles has some comments that is without citation. Take for example the sentence where the Sultan of Johore and Dr mahathir collaborated to sack Tun Salleh Abas. No citation was given, and it is quite illogical that these two figures that seem to hate each other would actually work together —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.142.24.130 (talk) 02:02, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
