Sultan Iskandar of Perak

Sultan Sir Iskandar Shah al-Kaddasullah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Sir Idris Murshid al-Azam Shah Rahmatullah GCMG, KCVO (10 May 1881-14 October 1938) was a Sultan of Perak, a state in modern Malaysia. Raja Alang Iskandar was born in 1881. He was made Raja Bendahara during the reign of his elder brother, Sultan Abdul Jalil Nasiruddin Al-Mukhataram Karamatullah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris Rahmatullah Shah. He ascended the Perak throne in November 1918 following the death of his brother. He died on 14th October 1938 and was given the post-humous title of Marhum Kadassallah. He was succeeded by his brother-in-law, Sultan Abdul Aziz Al-Mutasim Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa.
