Sukhbir Singh Badal (born 9 July 1962) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Faridkot constituency of Punjab and is president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) political party [1]. He was schooled at the Lawrence School, Sanawar . He is the son of the punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal , a former president of SAD.He was union minister of state for industry in Second Vajpayee Ministry from 1998 to 1999.
