Dr Sukhbir singh Sandhu is an Uttrakhand cadre IAS officer, presently posted as Special Principal secretary to CM Punjab and as M.D. Punjab Infrastructure Development Board (PIDB). He has been specially brought from Uttarakhand by Mr. Badal, to give impetus to various infrastructure projects in Punjab. People of Punjab have very fond memories of Dr. Sandhu, he is credited as the man who turned around Ludhiana in his earlier stint as Commissioner of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation. It is another matter that Ludhiana was again driven down by a certain Mr. Sharma, that is another story though.
