Suhopolje is a village in Slavonia, Croatia, located on the northern slopes of the Bilogora mountain in the region of Podravina, 10 km southeast of Virovitica; elevation 118 m. The population of the Suhopolje municipality is 7,524, with 2,865 people in Suhopolje itself and the rest in a number of surrounding villages.

Economy is based on farming, vegetable growing (paprika, chilli pepper), viticulture (riesling, Burgundy, traminac, plemenka), growing of hemp, sugar beet and tobacco, as well as on livestock breeding (cattle fattening).

Suhopolje is located on the main road (M3) Varaždin - Koprivnica - Virovitica - Osijek and the railroad Zagreb - Koprivnica - Osijek.
