Suhail Akbar is a fictional character in the Left Behind series of novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

Akbar is the Global Community's Director of Security and Intelligence. He, on several occasions, attempts to destroy Christians ensconced in Petra, Jordan, on Supreme Potentate and Antichrist Nicolae Carpathia's orders. Once he dropped two MOABs and a cruise missile on Petra, but the believers there are unharmed.
He is murdered on a furious Carpathia's orders after mentioning the world capital city of New Babylon (which had since been destroyed by God) in Glorious Appearing.
