Susan "Sue" Barnes, PC , MP , BA , LL.B (born September 8, 1952) is a Canadian politician. Barnes is currently a member of the Liberal Party of Canada in the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of London West since 1993.
Born in Rabat, Malta, Barnes is a former practicing lawyer. She is currently the Official Opposition critic for the Minister of Justice, and has served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Federal Interlocutor for Métis and Non-Status Indians, the Minister of National Revenue and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada with special emphasis on Judicial Transparency and Aboriginal Justice.
