Sudeep Sen is widely known as India's leading poet of the younger generation.[verification needed] His writing is praised for its intelligence, lyricism, formalism and passion.[who?]
Gregor Robertson in a BBC Radio interview with the author said, "Sen is amongst the finest younger English-language poets in the international literary scene. A distinct voice: carefully modulated and skilled, well measured and crafted".[1][verification needed]
