"Suddenly" is the fourth official single and fifth radio single from Ashley Tisdale's debut album Headstrong. The song was released on February 22, 2008 in Brazil, as Ashley's third single there. In Germany it was released on May 2, 2008, as her fourth single there.[2] The song was written by Ashley Tisdale and Janice Robinson, produced by Guy Roche for the Ashley's debut album Headstrong.

Tisdale performed this song along with "Last Christmas" in the lighting of the "75th Rockefeller Christmas Tree".

Ashley co-wrote Suddely with Janice Robinson, and she had taken part of the production team too. In January 2008, the song was released in Radio Disney Argentina. This song was produced by Guy Roche (of co-written/co-produced for Christina Aguilera's hits "What a Girl Wants", "I Turn to You", and "Come on Over Baby (All I Want Is You)". "Suddenly" on the other hand is a slower song with mostly piano as the main instrument.

The video was filmed by Scott Speer and released around mid-October 2007. It is the last part of the There's Something About Ashley DVD that included "He Said She Said" and "Not Like That". In the video Ashley Tisdale appears in a fictitious concert, also moments there appear images of the DVD in the process of recording, in this part Kara DioGuardi make cameo , Ashley in different moments of her life like also during the Tour of "High School Musical: The Concert", at the end of the video she manages to see the boy that she was interested in and knew in the start of the Trilogy in the video "He Said She Said" and she invites him into her dressing-room. The video also includes shots from the DVD of her Target edition album Headstrong. [3]
