Sudbury Wanderers was a football club from Sudbury, Suffolk, England. It merged with Sudbury Town in 1999 to form A.F.C. Sudbury.
Wanderers started off as an amateur in 1958. They slowly progressed up the National League System, became semi-pro, and eventually met a demoted Sudbury Town in the Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division in the 1990s. This caused some confusion as the two Sudbury teams played in identical colours thanks to the first Wanderers kit being a donation from Town.
On the 1st of June 1999, for financial reasons, Sudbury Wanderers merged with Sudbury Town to form A.F.C. Sudbury. The new team now plays at what was Wanderers' ground, King's Marsh.
