[edit] Complaint about the Kiddo-page and other artists-pages in which i've putted much effort
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiddo
Hello Wiki-staff,
There simply is NOT MUCH official reference-material about the funkgroup Kiddo online ... check for instance at allmusic.com ...NOTHING to be found over there about this group. You want a reliable source to be referred to ?! ... the MySpace-site is one of them , but if sources like those are going to be ignored on this site , then i'm done adding valuable info to this page because i've put a LOT of energy in order to get a lot of other "legitimate" and referring wikipedia-links to that Kiddo-page.
I'm tired of the nitpicking about the info which i posted on the particular page and other pages as well , because it feels like after having done much fieldwork to get valuable info on this site , i get a thanks for nothing in return , and this frustrates me a LOT. Some info posted on this site can't even be found on a site like allmusic.com , and i get the feeling there might be missing here on this page the realisation that there's exclusive info added to artists-pages , which can't be found anywhere else. If someone here still feels that the Kiddo-article or other rejected-articles are lacking , then please try to find the artists themselves ( many have their own sites or are on MySpace , but not all of them ! ) about any furthermore info which can possibly be added here in Wiki , and i wish you good luck with that.
I know this is a rant , but i'm expressing my frustration because i also have put a lot of effort in other wiki-pages as well , like the ones from Cameo ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameo_%28band%29 ) , or Louis Johnson ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Johnson_%28bassist%29 ) , which both refer to a lot of back-info from linernotes of records and cd's, vintage magazine-articles/reviews , or given details from the artists themselves in radio-interviews , from which some simply CAN NOT always be found that easy online, but still that particular Cameo-page and Louis Johnson-page are both marked as "not reliable" , so i'm also done with adding anymore info to those pages , even though there's some recent interesting info about those artists , but what's the use of adding them if they're gonna be ignored , refused or rejected anyway ? Especially on internet-media like MySpace can be found the latest info about many artists , so why not embrace that valuable info , instead of staying kinda out of touch sometimes on a desert island ? There's indeed a lot of spam on MySpace as well , but i noticed that the staff here already figured out a sort of firewall to keep them out.
Thank you
