[edit] ORSE Article Dispute
Hey nice to "meet" a fellow nuke via Wikipedia. I agree that most of what you said on the ORSE page was accurate. My dispute is with the writing style. Your version reads like a thriller since Wikipedia is a encyclopedia ( of sorts ) it should be written in a more neutral tone. I won't revert the article until I hear back from you, edit the page, or a few days pass. Best Webprofessor
[edit] Updated
How people feel about an ORSE and what an ORSE is are two separate things. To assert an ORSE is defined by how the crew feels is factually incorrect. I am going to separate the crew feelings the experience into their own sub topic on that page. Does that work for you?
Also we should try and add something about the workups to ORSE. Honestly thats the worst part of ORSE (IMO anyways). Webprofessor

[edit] Future missions and astronaut infobox
Please don't add future missions to the astronaut infobox. Since flight schedules can change, the infobox listing should be reserved for flights actually flown. Flights the person is scheduled to be on can be described in the body of the article. For example, while Clayton Anderson is scheduled to return on STS-120, things can change and he could come back on a different flight. Until he actually joins the STS-120 crew and it undocks from the ISS, it shouldn't be in the infobox. Rillian 00:41, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- While you are correct that crew manifests don't normally change this close to a launch, the Missions section of the Infobox is still not intended for speculative information. Let's say the STS-118 launch is delayed signicantly (not an uncommon occurence) and then another mission is moved up in the schedule. That entire time, we would have seven astronaut articles that incorrectly state they participated in mission STS-118. Since the article can be updated quickly once the mission actually starts, better to be safe and wait until then, rather than have potentially incorrect information in the infobox. [edit] Haiti is Latin American
sorry guy but haiti IS a latin american country. Look it up yourself. Haiti is not spanish-speaking (hispanic) but it is "latin". Languages derive from Latin & the culture has european influence. Brazil for example isnt hispanic but it is latin 100%. goolag 12:35, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
See for example http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Latin+America. In Haiti, French is spoken, but not in Jamaica. --Lambiam 08:02, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WWE and roman numerals
Actally, they use both. See WrestleMania 2, WrestleMania 13, WrestleMania 2000, WrestleMania 21, WrestleMania 22, WrestleMania 23. Also, take a look at wwe.com and it refers to it as the 15th Anniversary. The logo also says "RAW 15th Anniversary Spectacular". It's only in the backround that you see "XV". [edit] NY Giants "America's Team"
After reading the article, only ONE sports writer, Ian O'Connor called the NYG "America's Team", NOT "selected analysts" as you put it ("I believe Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, as well as Jimmy Johnson, & Terry Bradshaw all refer to the Giants as America's Team during Fox's Broadcast" ain't proof). Therefore, I deleted the article again. And FYI, I am a Giants fan. Richiekim (talk) 14:42, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
