[edit] Length of Ground

In AFL circles, Subiaco Oval is considered to be the longest ground in the competition, with visiting interstate teams often having to adjust their playing style accordingly.

Surely this can be an established fact? Either there is a longer ground or there isn't. Can someone who knows where to look do a quick bit of research & amend accordingly. Megamanic 09:05, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

I think (don't remember exactly) I was the one that put that statement in. Whenever there is football commentary (TV, radio, print etc.) the lenght/"expanse" of Subiaco Oval often gets a mention so it more a case of assumed knowledge. But if you would like some statistical stuff, here it is [1] also [2]- note: Marrara and Aurora are seldomly used. - Htra0497 10:46, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
