Talk about its use in the movie Fanaa?

[edit] tenuous times?

Shouldn't that be 'strenuous'? I haven't changed it as i'm not entirely sure that's what they meant.

[edit] Different explanations

In editing the article, shouldn't we:

A. Include various/different explanations, as opposed to just deleting the previous explanation for the phrase as was done by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/85.231.154.30? I'm not sure if we want just a single explanation for the phrase. I would like to include the explanation from ar-Razi as well as others.

B. Or if you think there is only ONE explanation then as I understand it, understanding Quranic terminology (Word of Allah) can only be done through taking the root of the derivative verbs and explain these derivatives in the shade of the root, as is done in the classical technique. These roots can only be explained by their occurance elsewhere in the Quran, as opposed to using a dictionary of the Arabic language (which is constantly evolving and changing) or expounding upon a scholar's opinion who has not used the classical technique. I'm unaware of whether or not ar-Razi used this classical technique.

C In addition, we can include a blurb about the source of this term (Quranic) and HOW the revelation is to be defined?

I think that this wiki entry could/should be greatly expanded.Furtfurt (talk) 21:49, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
