Submarine Squadron 4 (also known as SUBRON 4) is a squadron of submarines based at US Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, Connecticut under the command of Captain Robert Perry. The submarines that make up SUBRON 4 include USS Providence (SSN-719), USS Miami (SSN-755), USS Annapolis (SSN-760), USS Hartford (SSN-768), USS Connecticut (SSN-22), and USS Jimmy Carter (SSN-23).
SUBRON 4 has been located in Groton since 9 July 1999. Prior to reactivation in Groton with fast-attack submarines, the squadron, made up of ballistic missile submarines, was located in Charleston, South Carolina.
