Sublime Exile Recordings

Sublime Exile Recordings is an independent record label that was founded in 2002. Lasse de Flon, a Swede now living in Denmark, has been working in the industry for decades throughout Scandinavia, started the label.

The label’s first release [Happiness saves lives] by Kira and the kindred spirits received massive attention and the media proclaimed Kira as the biggest natural talent coming out on the Danish rock scene in decades. The second release [Pilot Fatique] by Pleasure Machine, includes prominent guests appearances, by some of the best on the Danish independent rock scene, such as Sune Wagner and Sharin Foo from The Raveonettes. The third release by Racing Ape received the prestigious '2002 Talent Award’ announced by the Danish National Broadcasting Radio at the 'P3 Gold Awards'. In 2006 the label digitally released the Australian shoegazers The Fakes and their debut EP ‘Storm in a tea cup’.
