Subhro Bandyopadhyay (nee Subhransu Banerjee; born 1978) is a Bengali poet, writer and Spanish translator. He was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
In 2006 he was shortlisted for the Sanskriti awards for literature.[citation needed]
In 2007, Subhro was awarded the Ruy De Clavijo fellowship by the Casa Asia, Spain, for his work on translating the work of the Spanish writer María Fernanda Santiago Bolaños El jardín de las favoritas olvidadas into Bengali.[1].
