Su Rui, sometimes referred as Julie Su was a highly popular Chinese pop singer from Taiwan, especially in the 1980s. The song "The Same Moonlight" first propelled her from an unknown to to singing sensation in Taiwan overnight when it was released in 1983[1]. Her popularity in China was equated with that of Teresa Teng, with her hit song "Follow Your Feelings" became hugely popular in the last 1980s, even as her popularity began to decline in Taiwan[2].
