The Styx River is a river in New South Wales, Australia.
The Styx River rises in the Snowy Range, a spur of the Great Dividing Range, which forms part of the eastern escarpment of the New England Tableland. It starts near the village of Ebor.
The Styx flows towards the south-west (initially away from the coast), rapidly descending into a deep gorge where it meets the Chandler River.[1] It eventually joins the Macleay River.
