[edit] Userpage redesign

Hi, I noticed your request on Wikipedia:WikiProject User Page Help/Trading Spaces, and was thinking I might try my hand at prettifying it, I've been a little bored lately. I have no particular plan yet, but you can look at my userpage for some of the design elements I've used before, though I'd keep the main structure of your pages more or less intact (it will NOT clone my page, this will be unique). I'll establish some theme or other partway through, and make subpages/bot page match this style. Unless you prefer I not (do you?), I might create subpages for one or more elements used across multiple pages, or to condense coding on a particular page (e.g. a talk header). That's my speech, is it OK if I go ahead? I won't edit until I'm sure you're fine with it. Nihiltres(t.l) 03:33, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Sure, go ahead. Thanks a lot :-) Stwalkerster talk 15:22, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] National Technical Means of Verification

I see you took off the helpme, but I didn't see anything about correcting the title. Because there is a "National Technical Means", the Wiki software won't let me simply move it to a properly renamed page. Howard C. Berkowitz 19:29, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] thanks

[edit] Your move request

Hi. I have moved the requested article to National technical means of verification, and the corresponding talk page to Talk:National technical means of verification. Note that you do not need to be an administrator to move pages.

As far as the old pages, they are currently redirects to the new ones. Is that what you want, or do you want National means of technical verification and Talk:National means of technical verification to be deleted? You can reply on my talk page. - Rjd0060 20:24, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

No problem. I'll contact the correct person. - Rjd0060 20:31, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fluendo logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Fluendo logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:29, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Paul Allard

I am Paul Allard, I think that it is a load of crap that I cannot put anything on a page about somebody who shares the same name as me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.67.76.128 (talk) 22:05, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi! The problem is we can't hold information about anyone and everyone (Our servers are not big enough!). If you are notable as described by the Notability policy, then ensure that you assert the notability with a reference when you add the information. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but you will have to look elsewhere to post your name. :-) Stwalkerster talk 22:10, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
