[edit] Dahaka
Whoa, dude, when you're dropping a note on someone's Talk, try to put it in a new header or at least leave it at the bottom of the page. It took me ten minutes to find your comment. Also, sign your comments with four tildes, like so: ~~~~.
As to your comment, I was working on a mass page for all the PoP characters. Unfortunately I was interrupted before I got finished, and I'm only just getting back on now. Don't worry, the Dahaka's information is still intact, and it will be up shortly. ♠PMC♠ 22:46, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- Wikipedia normally runs by having a central list of characters giving descriptions of all the characters, rather than having a stub for every article. However it may be acceptable to make an article on the very most notable character. Also, have redirects from the less notables to the list. Redwolf24 (talk) 00:38, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
- To expand Redwolf's point: Among other things, a central list makes the articles less likely to get AFD'd as non-notable stubs, (which occurs frequently) makes cross-referencing between characters easier (in the case that someone wants to compare character information), and helps with organization. Having redirects from the character articles and then including the information in a larger list is much preferable to a scattering of stubs. One can still utilize the character name articles to make redirects to the list page. The template, slightly modified, can still be used on the list page - in fact, that's quite a good idea. As all the information on the mini-articles is included on that larger List article, I'm redirecting them to the larger for now. ♠PMC♠ 01:09, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

- Hmm, I like the way you think. It looks good to me now, especially the enemies page. I'll have a look-over for grammar and such, but aside from that, it looks pretty damn cool. I think I might merge the item articles into a single "list of items" page, is that okay? As for the mini-pages, you don't need to delete them. We can turn them into redirects by replacing the text on the page with #REDIRECT [[wherever you're redirecting to]]. Also, I think the locations, if and when created, should probably be put into a single article. ♠PMC♠ 22:09, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Tomb_Raider_4_cover.jpg
I have tagged Image:Tomb_Raider_4_cover.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 02:12, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Cairo in smog.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Cairo-in-smog.jpg. The copy called Image:Cairo-in-smog.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 21:30, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:The-Prince-3.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:The-Prince-3.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. B (talk) 22:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Harlan-Wade.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Harlan-Wade.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 22:32, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:The-Medallion.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:The-Medallion.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
