Talk:Stuart Beattie

[edit] POV material removed
This article had unsourced POV material such as the claim Beattie was "noted for his strong pace and intelligent scripts." I removed that as it's not encyclopedic without a reference. Also, the article claimed, "his most well known work would be on 2003's 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' as the story writer." Who says that's his most well known? Additionally, a "story by" credit does not mean someone is the "story writer" on a film -- a story by credit is subordinate to a "screenplay by" credit and, in fact, means very little of the writer's contribution is left in the film. See the WGA screenwriting credit system article for more information about how that works. Carmela Soprano 18:30, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
