Sturmer Pippin

A Sturmer Pippin is kind of crisp green-skinned apple. It is edible and has creamy white flesh. The origin of the term "sturmer pippin" is from 1800s when it was named after the village of Sturmer, a locality on the border of Suffolk and Essex where farmers first engineered this kind of apple.
