Stuff (band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stuff was a New-York based jazz funk band active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The members were Gordon Edwards (bass), Richard Tee (keyboards), Eric Gale (guitar), Cornell Dupree (guitar), Steve Gadd (drums), and Chris Parker (drums).

The band was put together in part by Joe Cocker for his album, Jamaica Say You Will, which was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica.

The band released five albums before disbanding in 1980.

The members of Stuff were all accomplished session musicians, and several members played backup for Paul Simon. Stuff is not planned to make a reunion tour.
