Studio 33

Studio 33 was a Liverpool, England game developer once owned by Psygnosis making Formula 1 99, 2000, 2001 for the PlayStation. In 2000, SCEE bought out Psygnosis, and owned Studio 33 from 1999 - October 16, 2003. EA bought out Studio 33 to solely develop EA Sports Formula 1 games. EA relocated the studio to Warrington, England and renamed EA North West.[1]

Studio 33 is also the name of the famous soundstage at CBS Television City in Hollywood, California. This stage is the home of television's longest running game show, The Price is Right. On the 5,000th episode of The Price is Right on April 8, 1998, Studio 33 was renamed the Bob Barker Studio to honor Barker's tenure as host.
