The Student Forum within the Tönissteiner Kreis (Studentenforum im Tönissteiner Kreis e.V.) is a loosely-organized German interdisciplinary, politically and confessionally independent student group. It is a non-governmental non-profit student organisation, aiming to prepare its members for professional activities in international contexts. Its currently 130 members, many of whom studying abroad, are recruited through the major German scholarship organizations. The Studentenforum carries out project work in various fields and formats, such as annual summer academies with its partners (of which most are member of the Politeϊa Community), ThinkTanks and long-term initiatives on specific issues, and regular study trips abroad.
