Stuart Island is a small island on the southeast side of the Norton Sound of Alaska, at about 63°30′43″N, 162°16′29″W (63.511893, -162.274632)[1]. The island is about 15 km (10 miles) long and 10 km (7 miles) wide with a land area of 135.185 km² (52.195 sq mi) and had no resident population at the 2000 census.

Stuart Island has no permanent settlements, but is only a short distance by water from Stebbins, which is on neighboring St. Michael Island. Stuart Island is home to an unmanaged herd of reindeer put there as part of the Stebbins/St. Michael Reindeer Corral Project.
