Stuart Hughes

Stuart Hughes (born in Toronto, Ontario, August 9, 1959) is a Canadian actor known for his leading roles on the stages of Shaw Festival, Stratford Festival, Soulpepper Theatre Company (of which he is a founding member), and many other Canadian theatre companies.
He has received two Dora Awards for the roles of Billy in The Collected Works of Billy the Kid, and The Man in On the Verge (Tarragon Theatre).
As a teenager, Hughes lived in London, Ontario where he attended Saunders Secondary School and played French Horn in the school band. His blond hair and strong features made him popular with the female student population. He performed in school drama productions and also had small, non-speaking roles in plays at the Stratford, Ontario Shakespearean Festival. Hughes is married to fellow actor Megan Follows. He lives with Follows and her children, Russel and Lyla, spending part of the year in Los Angeles and part of the year in Toronto.
Follows appears with her real life husband in the television movie Booky and the Secret Santa.
