Stuart Duncan

Stuart Duncan (born April 14, 1964) is an award-winning bluegrass musician who plays the fiddle, mandolin, guitar and banjo. Born and raised in southern California, he has been a member of the Nashville Bluegrass Band since 1985, and is a much-in-demand session musician who has worked with such stars as George Strait, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire and Barbara Streisand, to name a few.[1]

As a member of the Nashville Bluegrass Band, he won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 1994 and 1996,[2] and was named the Academy of Country Music Fiddle Player of the Year for 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001, and 2004, and Specialty Instrument Player of the Year for 2006.[1]
