Stu Martin

Stu Martin (November 19, 1912 – January 11, 1997), played Major League Baseball from 1936 to 1943.
He was born in Rich Square, North Carolina, and began his career with the Saint Louis Cardinals. In 1941 he switched teams and played for the Pittsburgh Pirates. His last year, 1943, he played for the Chicago Cubs. He had a career .268 batting average. In 1936 Haas was selected as a national league all-star. [1] He died in Severn, North Carolina.
