Stu Cook (born Stuart Alden Cook, 25 April 1945, Oakland, California) played bass guitar in the American rock band, Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Cook attended San Jose State University, and graduated in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Industrial Management. After Creedence broke up, Cook and former Creedence drummer Doug Clifford formed Factory Productions, and joined Don Harrison in the Don Harrison Band. Cook later produced Roky Erickson's band The Aliens in 1979, and joined the country rock band Southern Pacific in 1985 (replacing Jerry Scheff). Cook remained with Southern Pacific until they broke up in 1990.

Cook and Doug Clifford - also of Creedence Clearwater Revival - formed the band Creedence Clearwater Revisited in 1995.
