[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Noor Plaque1.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Noor Plaque1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 12:23, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Help Me Request - Image Copyright

{{helpme}}

I uploaded the file "Noor_Image1.jpg" today. I see the warning that it needs a image copyright tag. I have no idea how to do that, and the page that describes an "image copyright tag" is completely useless and not in anything one could call English. Simply put, exactly how does one add a tag to an image that has already been uploaded? I need specific steps. Thanks for any and all help from a very frustrated new contributor. Hello! If you've already uploaded an image, you can add a licensing template by clicking "Edit this page" and typing the proper copyright code. They are a bit confusing, but unfortunately, we have to take copyright very seriously here. I noticed, though, that you've uploaded a similar image to that one here: Image:Noor Plaque.jpg. Since it's much bigger and already has a licensing template, it's probably best to just use it. If that's ok with you, you can add the code {{db-author}} to the image with the copyright problem and an admin will come to delete it. Hersfold (t/a/c) 16:36, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
