[edit] User:Laveol

The user Laveol was vandalizing your user page so I rv it to your last version.

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Miladinov Brothers. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. VegitaU 14:41, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

You have been told multiple times to stop inserting inappropriate content onto your userpage. Since you continue to ignore this policy, you have been WP:BLOCKed for a longer period. Though Basil left the Bulgarian Church its autonomy, the Metropolitans of Achrida were no longer styled Patriarchs, but Archbishops, and after 1025 were chosen from the Greek clergy, instead of the Bulgarian.[1]. ForeignerFromTheEast 21:00, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] notice about your recent edit war

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bulgarian Archbishopric of Ohrid. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 21:35, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Neutral point of view warning

[edit] Image source problem with Image:200px-Pecat na Kresnensko-razloveckoto vostanie.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:200px-Pecat na Kresnensko-razloveckoto vostanie.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:02, 29 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. cholmes75 (chit chat) 13:02, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Yes, you can add the URL in the Summary section of the image page. Please add a URL to the page containing the image, not directly to the image itself. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 14:20, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Macedonian Scientific and Literary Society

I protected the page because there was a full-scale edit war. Protecting a page always has one side irritated that it's not the "correct" version - it doesn't matter which one it is for the time being. The important thing is that all involved parties need to have a conversation and build consensus. If that seems impossible, we have a lot of other ways to resolve disputes here. [edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 18:41, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-free content

Hello again. Regarding this edit: you cannot use nonfree (copyrighted) images such as Image:RainbowPartyLogoGreek.jpg outside of articles. It violates our non-free content policies. Please remove the image from your userpage and try to avoid using images in this way in the future. Thanks! (ESkog)(Talk) 20:32, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sure

I will help, though I am not sure about those large numbers of Macedonians in the world. The official statistics I've seen are more or less in line with wikipedia numbers. You should take into account that the censuses do not count people's heritage, but people's nationality, so you have many people in Canada, USA, Australia etc. who declare themselves as Canadian, American, Australian, despite having Macedonian parents, etc. Capricornis 20:43, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image licence

Image:Pecat na Kresnensko-razloveckoto vostanie.jpg currently does not specify a source. Please fill the according information. Mr. Neutron 20:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

You cannot use wikipedia itself as a source. Please present proper source! Mr. Neutron 21:01, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] todor aleksandrov

Changing the text would probably lead nowhere unilaterally, as there are enough bulgarian users here to change it back, regardless of usage or not usage of sock pupets by either side. The bulgarian point of view is well researched and documented, what is needed is a history buff who would do the same for the macedonian side. Also, wikipedia has very strict policy on copyright of images and the former User: Mr. Neutron and current User: ForeignerFromTheEast rejoices in deleting those that are even slightly outside of the formal copyright norms accepted within wikipedia, and of course connected with his pet topic of Macedonina :) Capricornis 22:15, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
