Talk:Stripping (television)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article appears to be about two related, but different, things:

1) "classic" US-style stripping: the same show at the same time daily (or at least, Mondays-Fridays}

2) Michael Grade's introduction of Monday-Friday BBC1 primetime "on-the-hour/half-hour" programme start times (with consequent effects upon programme length) - with, however, minimal stripping in the US sense (the mere practice of starting programmes at :00 and :30 is a very much older feature of US TV).

I agree. Perhaps split the article into two stubs, one Stripping (television) and one Stripping and Stranded? Darquis 22:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
