Strange to have a black British actor listed even as a fictional "African American" but I guess it is just barely acceptable since the character is American even if the actor is not. Seen the mistake in other places, political correctness gone mad foolishly assuming "African American" is a synonym for black even describing. -- Horkana 15:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

  • It is not a mistake. The fictional character is American, even though the actor is not. Idris Elba is not an African American, but Stringer Bell is. JeffStickney 23:28, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
