It would be great if there were some musical examples (just the first few bars) of the references used in Shostakovch's String Quartet No. 8.

Just a quick note...is "woud" as quoted in Shostakovich's letter supposed to be spelled without the letter "L"? I don't have the book as a reference. --Vitruvian0 21:33, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
